贊助聖雅各服群會的助學改變未來服務— 「STEAM X建築模塊」慈惠計劃
麥光耀基金會（Mark Mak Foundation “MMF”）贊助了聖雅各服群會的助學改變未來服務— 「STEAM X建築模塊」慈惠計劃，為本地一班基層家庭的小童提供日常課堂以外的學習機會，啟發他們在STEAM及環境保護方面的思維及潛能。此計劃主要為兩間本地小學內的低收入家庭學童提供「STEAM X建築模塊工作坊」及由企業義工帶領的「有機農莊體驗日」，從中學習科學小知識和環境保護的課題。計劃完結前更頒發頒賞予一眾於表示突出的學童。

Sponsor the “STEAM Program” of
Grant-in-aid Brightens Children’s Lives Service organized by St. James’ Settlement
Mark Mak Foundation (“MMF”) cares for the underprivileged and concerns on their deficiency in learning resources. In 2023, MMF sponsored the “STEAM Program” of Grant-in-aid Brightens Children’s Lives Service organized by St. James’ Settlement, offering dozens of primary 4 to 6 children from Tung Koon School (Sheung Shui) and ELCHK Faith Love Lutheran School an ample opportunity on STEAM learning. From the 3-months STEAM workshop, students gained the knowledge on programming and science, encouraged them to fulfill their potential and creative flair. Meanwhile, an organic farm visit at The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Organic Farm was also arranged for the students. During the visit, volunteers from CIS Group and the students had the opportunity to experience organic farming and gained the knowledge and importance of environmental conservation.
